Why is every product unique?

Each of Metamorphic Gear is as unique as the materials it is made of! The tarpaulin, the ropes, the craft- every piece comes in various colors and designs, which gives our products the unique touch. Set out on your journey while giving these once loved materials a new chapter in theirs.

What materials are upcycled and where do they come from?

We mainly use retired boat sails, truck tarps and climbing ropes. All of our materials are from Seattle. We take pride in supporting our local communities, reducing waste disposal and handling costs.

How is Metamorphic Gear product quality?

Boat sails, truck tarps and climbing ropes are extremely durable and versatile to withstand tears and abrasions. We handedly select retired materials before turning them into your unique Metamorphic Gear.

How to clean and take care of your Metamorphic Gear?

Use a damp cloth and water-soluble cleanser. Air Dry. DO NOT use Chlorine or Bleach

Where does the 1% donation go towards?

We are devoted to making a difference and keeping the ocean clean. For every purchase you make, 1% of that transaction goes to the Friends of Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge in funding ocean cleanup.

When will I receive my order?

Once you receive your order confirmation, please allow 1-3 business days as all of our orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

What is the exchange & return policy?

Online Exchange & Return Policy:

  1. If you wish to exchange or return the items, you must initiate a request within 30 days  after receiving. Please contact us at lindsay@metamorphicgear.com

  2. To be eligible for an exchange or return, your merchandise must be in an unused condition.

  3. Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

  4. If your return is approved, a refund of the merchandise and taxes will be issued to the original form of payment.

In-Store Return Policy:

In-store purchases may not be returned online. You must contact our partner store in which the original purchase was made as each partner store’s return policy may vary.
